Our Vision:
We're Thinking Big!
At Upon This Rock Ministries, we don’t just see the need — we see the future.
We envision a city — and eventually a region — where no man, woman, or child is left to sleep on the streets, go hungry, or suffer in silence. We believe God is calling us to be more than responders — He’s calling us to be rebuilders of cities and restorers of dignity.
We see a future where:
UTRM operates multiple 24/7 shelters across Connecticut, offering transitional housing and wraparound services for men, women, families, and youth.
We build a full-service outreach center with on-site mental health counselors, recovery support, career training, and discipleship programs, so guests don’t just survive — they thrive.
Mobile outreach units bring food, clothing, medical care, and prayer to those who still remain unsheltered, meeting people right where they are.
A Community Resource Hub is established, connecting our guests with long-term housing solutions, employment pipelines, legal aid, and mentorship.
A faith-based recovery home provides a safe haven for those overcoming addiction, rooted in love, structure, and spiritual transformation.
We develop a training institute that equips churches, volunteers, and organizations to serve the unhoused with compassion, wisdom, and sustainability — multiplying impact beyond our walls.
This is not just a dream — it’s a divine assignment. And with God’s provision and your partnership, we will build it brick by brick, soul by soul.
We believe that the same God who turned five loaves and two fish into a feast for thousands is still multiplying today — through people just like you.
